It is Done. Haha, its weird because this is a very bittersweet feeling. Honestly, it wasn't that hard to stay on the cleanse. Really the only time it was hard was when those around me ate the food I wasn't supposed to have, but even then it got easier and easier. I have loved feeling soo good inside and out, and knowing that every couple days the scale is going to go down another pound if I was doing it faithfully. I will most likely keep making a lot of our food this way. It has been really easy once I learned what we eat and why. I was pretty astonished at how cause and effect the foods really were. So I was way too busy to get a picture together of myself today, after all I don't want to look like a total mess, they are my "after" pics. Maybe I will put together a progression through out the whole journey just for my own enjoyment/warning. A "That is what will happen, again, if I am not careful".
So the most asked question the whole cleanse was "What is it again?" It is called the 30 Days to feeling Fit by Arbonne. I used a mixture of their Fit Essentials products paired with sensible food, and I saw, felt, and experienced amazing results. I was NEVER starving, I had plenty of energy, and I was feeling better on the inside as well as seeing results on the outside. I feel like depending on certain foods I eat I just get to feeling, sluggish, and yuck digestion-ally. That was all completely gone for a month. It focuses on regulating your blood sugars and eliminating allergy prone foods, to basically allow your body to cleanse and rejuvenate itself. So I will totally do this again, not even a question. It is a great way to refresh and cleanse my body.
The second most asked question "What are you going to eat first when its all over?" Well my friends I ate a Chocolate Chip Cookie. But not just any old Chocolate chip cookie. Its only the best chocolate chip cookie ingredients can make! I found the recipe via pinterest, and just started sharing it with friends (Giving all of the proper recognition to the blogger of Course). The Blog is Apple a Day and here is the link: http://kelseysappleaday.blogspot.com/2011/08/best-ever-chewy-chocolate-chip-cookies.html
Ok so here are all the final stats. As you can see I didn't get to the goal of 125, but I did lose a lot, and I feel amazing. I am going to keep losing till I get to 125 I will just do it a little more lax. It may take a little longer, but I'll get there. Wow, looking at it side by side is actually pretty cool, YAY!!! Ok, now I am done being overly honest about my weight and measurements for the sake of science ;)

DAY 30
Wow, one might think I fell off the face of the planet! Haha, No worries. I didn't give up on the cleanse I have been holding pretty strong. I just have been insanely busy the last week. I am going to post my Final Results Tomorrow as that is the last day of the Cleanse! I can't believe it's over already, honestly I have loved a lot of what I have been eating recently and so has Brett, so a lot of the recipes will probably be incorporated into my every day. I wouldn't have even found these recipes unless I was looking for something that fit in my cleanse. I am not going to try and go back and remember what I ate every day for you, but I will still share the highlights :)
New Shake flava: 2 scoops of Vanilla Protein, 4oz Almond Milk, water, tblsp Almond Buttter, A teeny Drizzle of Coconut extract. SOO good. Lyla kept drinking mine. I love that its safe for my babe to drink too because its all good ingredients
Quinoa Salad(very feeling - powerhouse healthy): This I Loved So make sure to cook the Quinoa with 1 tsp. Olive oil and brown to crackle noise - I know it sounds weird but watch a you tube video on it, it helps to cook it thoroughly and gets rid of that bitter background taste Quinoa has. So I have realized when I cook I don't make very good recipes. So I will just say what I put into it and you can kind of regulate from there.
1 cup Quinoa and 2 cups Water - cooked the right way
1 cup Black Beans - I have just been hydrating dried beans lately because its way way cheaper and I can regulate the sodium
Avacado - Diced
Cilantro - Fresh diced
Strawberries - diced
sliced assorted colored peppers
Dressing - Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, sea salt, pepper, cayenne, agave, EVOO - mix to taste
Vegetarian Chili!! I got this recipe from Tara, My SIL and it is soo yummy and practically guilt free. I didn't know if Brett would love it sans Spicy Sausage but he gobbled it down and grabbed seconds. I will just input the link for this one http://www.twopeasandtheirpod.com/vegetarian-quinoa-chili/
I did add the green onions on top and a little almond milk just to my bowl to add a little creamy taste. Brett added Tortilla chips for some crunch.
My biggest recipe go-tos for healthier cooking are cooking with Coconut oil when Sauteeing it gives an almost butter like taste and texture. Find other alternatives to boring old pasta such as Quinoa, Sweet Potatoes, Brown Rice, and Brwon Rice Noodles. Embrace the Veggies! I am using way more fresh veggies and we are loving it, yes its maybe like 15 minutes more prep time, but so worth it. I am using more fresh Herbs also.
I have also been trying to keep working out, I have to be honest though last week I really only worked out mon tues and wed. Then I started again this Monday Tues and Wed. I feel ten times better when I get something in, my body just feels much tighter and healthier. I think I am developing an addiction :)
So the reasons I was so busy was working with my Business, and turning 25! Brett took me to see the new Star Trek movie for my Birthday, and I loved it! Our friend Kenzie watched bug and we were able to go out just the two of us. Then Saturday was an all day event! Bug turned 1!!! I have a Toddler now! We had a Lady Bug party, and it was so much fun. I will post pics- She takes steps like 3 or 4 in a row and then sits down and crawls. So its only a matter of time. It is so funny, I try and get workouts in 3 to 5 times a week, but we woke up on Sunday morning after we had Lyla's party on Saturday and Brett and I were sooo sore. I was exhausted and sore all over! haha, I used to do events all day every day I guess I am a little out of practice:/
I will post pics of Birthday and stuff in a second post-

Snack: 4 Blueberries
Lunch: Lettuce, 1/8 cup blueberries, 2 Strawberries Sliced, 1/2 handful sliced almonds- That was the salad part. Then I also had maybe 1/2 cup salmon - Steamed in oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes. EVOO, Sea Salt, Pepper, Oregano Basil, 1/2 lemon Squeezed and some orange slices steamed over the top. Picture included SOOO Yummy, I even had a little friend who wanted to share it with me :)
Snack: 1 tsp Almond Butter - Hour later Chocolate Fit Chew
Dinner: 3oz. Chicken Breast, Sauteed in Coconut oil and Garlic Smoked paprika added to the chicken and garlic just sprinkled over the top, Sea salt and Pepper of course, Then Once the chicken was cooking up nicely I added some sweet potato, Carrot, and onion. Sauteed that until almost done then Added some green onion at the end. Brett loved it! Her said it was much much better than last night.
I did P90x Yoga and P90x Ab RipperX today for the workout
Water 25 oz. Need to drink more before I go to bed.
Ok and for the Measurements, ugh we are getting into crunch time here. Only 9 more days left of my detox cleanse. I wanted to really challenge myself and see if I could get down to 125. That doesn't look like it is going to happen, it was pretty lofty anyway, and I want to lose it healthily so I will just keep going with what I am doing, and then June 1st I will start just exercising and eating sensibly. Brett hasn't minded most of the food I have been making for the family though, so it doesn't seem like the change will be that drastic, I will just allow for the occasional cookie/ gluten item here and there :) Besides I don't have to be 125 or anything, I just wanted to see if I can do it. I feel really good where I am though.

Day 20 and 21
Day 20
This was my last Body Cleanse Day! Not that it was bad or anything, it was just something I didn't have to remember to do every day. I had an eventful day going to the grocery store and getting my work out done. I did the BBL Bum Bum work out and the BBL Tummy Tuck. They were both tough, they almost seemed tougher than usual, but it had been since last Thursday since I did the complicated workouts. I ate:
Breakfast : 2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein powder (Arbonne), 4 oz. of Almond milk, 2 tsp. Fiber The usual Chocolate shake I normally start with - I think I am going to do the Detox tea again starting tomorrow since I am not doing the Body Cleanse drink throughout the day and I miss the Detox tea with the fizz in it.
Lunch: Leftover Veggie brown rice noodle -Pumpkin puree spaghetti sauce stuff
Dinner: Home made Berry Almond Salad- Inspired by Wendy's salad. 1/8 cup blueberries, 1/8 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup strawberries, 3oz. chicken Sauteed in Evoo, Lemon juice, and Agave nectar - over Lettuce - WAy YUMMO
Water - 45 oz. 32 oz. Body Cleanse mixture
Day 21
Only 3 more days until I turn 25! I am excited because it is my birthday, however 25 sounds old for me. No that I think other 25 and up people are old, I guess it just seems wierd to be turning 25 - mid twenties 1/4 of a century. Haha. I have thought a lot lately about being the person you want to be today, not putting anything off until tomorrow. I see people and hear people talk about things in their life that make them unhappy, and I just think then change it, and if you can't change it right now then look for the good in it, and keep on moving. There are a lot of things people are struggling with in the world right now, but how long should we hang our heads and complain? I want to be happy on this earth and in this life as much as is possible. I hope that isn't the endorphins speaking from my workouts today. Its just been on my mind a lot. So I did The HIP HOP ABS Total Body Burn and the BBL High and Tight so we will have to see what that does to my inches tomorrow!
Breakfast: 2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein powder (Arbonne), 4 oz. of Almond milk, 2 tsp. Fiber
Lunch: 2 Scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder (Arbonne), 4 oz. of Almond Milk, 1 tsp. Almond Butter - I haven't done straight vanilla yet - but this one was really delicious!
Snack: Pomegranate Fizz stick with 16 oz. water
Dinner: 1/2 cup Brown rice noodle shells, sauce mixture - Not very good I took some wrong turns so I won't even give all the measurements - Lets just say it was clean and I don't feel any guilt it just wasn't very tasty. Mushrooms, Garlic, Evoo, Chicken, - Steamed Broccoli, Almond Milk, Almonds (Some of this was blended together.) Anyways it was yuck-

DAY 17 18 & 19
What can I say it is really hard to blog every single day. I have stuck with the cleanse though! So don't think I fell off the wagon or anything. Now I have quite a bit of catch up to do. On Friday we headed down to Grantsville so I could do a facial presentation with Megan and it was a lot of fun. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. here is the Log:
DAY 17
Breakfast: 2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein powder (Arbonne), 4 oz. of Almond milk, 2 tsp. Fiber, 1 tsp Almond Butter - So yummy, but soo filling I could barely finish it.
Snack: Finished the Morning shake - then had a Energy Go Fizz -Pomegranate
Lunch: Sautéed Broccoli, Carrot, green onion, garlic, in Coconut oil, over brown rice
Snack: Pomegranate Energy Fizz
Dinner: 1 Egg and 2 snack size peppers sautéed in olive oil, handful of Almonds and Cashews-Raw
Body Cleanse Throughout the day - Spilled 2 oz on the front seat :(
Water: 35 oz
We went back out to Grantsville to visit with family and attend the Anderson Family reunion, it was great to visit with everyone again. We also got to sneak over and visit with Cody and Alexa and their Little man Connor. He and Lyla played a little more this time, and they bonked heads pretty good too, so I can see a promising future between them-Hehe We got home put Lyla to Bed and Brett and I got to finally sit down and watch Jack Reacher, I thought it was actually pretty good. The pessimistic side of me wishes that the judicial system worked this way.
DAY 18
Morning Run in Murray in the Rain :(
Breakfast: Vanilla On-the-Go shake
Snack: Handful of Almonds/Cashews - Raw
Lunch: Chicken Sautéed in Coconut oil and flavored with Smoked Paprika, Garlic, onion Over Dark Leafy Green Lettuce Mixture - Berry Vinaigrette
Snack: Leafy Green Salad at The Anderson Family reunion and a handful of Baby Carrots
Dinner:2 Scoops of Chocolate Protein powder (Arbonne), 4 oz. of Almond milk, 2 tsp. Fiber, 1 tsp Almond Butter
Today we were so lazy. Bug slept in until like 8:45am which is a record for her. We slept in also, and we felt pretty spoiled, until Church. We were late as we aren't used to sleeping in so long and I love to make Sunday breakfast, even when I can't participate. So I made pancakes with coconut Syrup for Brett and Bug. We got to church and Lyla was DONE halfway through Junior Primary Sharing time. I tried to give her a bottle and help her to nap, but the volume of 8,9, 10 year old boys running around, banging on doors and screaming on the stage made sure that did not happen. So I sent Brett home with her to put her down. I know that was so lame, but it was just one of those days and we couldn't last any longer. Then I got home from church and Brett had lunch ready, then we all just took a family nap. Haha Lyla says "Stop it" "Baby" "Yummy" "Daddy and Mom" "Tubby" and "Hi / Bye" So Crazy! She also LOVES her Baby. She got a baby doll for her Birthday from Bonnie, and She is so in love with that baby, she even feeds her the bottle. She took two steps by herself the other day and she is soo busy all the time. I LOVE being her mommy. So here is the log
for today-
Breakfast:2 Scoops Vanilla Arbonne Protein Shake, 4 oz. Almond Milk, 1 Tsp. Almond Butter, teeny drizzle of Pure vanilla extract, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, 1/4 cup pure pumpkin Puree, 1/8 cup water, 9 ice cubes - Couldn't finish it again.
Snack: Handful of carrots- tsp. Almond Butter
Lunch: 2 large eggs, Diced onions, Brown rice - Sautéed in EVOO.
Snack: Handful of Almonds
Dinner: Brown Rice/Veggie noodles, with Pumpkin puree spaghetti sauce. Surprisingly good. So here is how I made it -
Diced Two carrots and one Sweet potato - Sautéed in Coconut oil and added diced Garlic
Once soft I added the rest of the can of Pumpkin Puree after those two shakes So probably like 2/3 can. And one small can of tomato sauce no sodium added. Basil, Oregano, Sea Salt, Pepper, Parsley, Stock to loosen it up, and just simmered till the flavors combined. So it was kind of a Vegetarian night. Brett said it was good, and Lyla scarfed it down, So I am calling it a creative Success :)

Snack: Pomegranate Energy Fizz stick with 16 oz water
Lunch: 1 cup Sweet potato, 1/4 cup Onion and Bell Peppers Sauteed in Coconut oil and seasoned with Sea salt, Smoked Paprika and Pepper- 1 tbsp. of Almond Butter

32 0z. Body Cleanse - sipped on through out the day
75 oz. Water
BBL - Sculpt I only did the one today because I was still pretty sore from my workout - athon yesterday. But I Gave it my Best and it was a good work out. Brett said he wants to start working out again, mostly his abs. He is concerned about going swimming with family and having them say how great I look and, telling him he has let himself go. Haha, whatever he is genetically gifted to look amazing without any effort, but I am a huge advocate of overall physical fitness. Not only does it prolong your life, but it drastically improves the quality of life you are living. Seriously, I feel soo much better about all aspects of my day-to-day and I just want to be healthy forever! The only down side When I put my bra on I could almost swear that I can hear it snickering and mocking me:) Like "Oh, Please girl, like you really fit into this cup size anymore, you might as well get a sports bra and call it a day." And then I smile and think, 'whatever I am healthy and that is all that matters.'
Snack: Pomegranate Energy Fizz stick with 16 oz water
Lunch: 1 cup Sweet potato, 1/4 cup Onion and Bell Peppers Sauteed in Coconut oil and seasoned with Sea salt, Smoked Paprika and Pepper- 1 tbsp. of Almond Butter

Dinner: 1 Cup Brown Rice Veggie Noodles - SOO Good I might make a permanent switch. Diced Tomatoes, Basil, 3oz. Chicken, and handful of sliced almonds (For Texture) - Pretty yummy it was a play on Bruschetta.
4 Strawberries

DAY 15
Well today was a pretty good work out day. I did the P90X Cardio X, P90X Ab Ripper X, and the BBL High and Tight. I am pretty sore right now, but I have high goals so I have got to try and reach them. So Let's be honest - I slacked a little on the Detox this last week, I never had a dessert, but I did have seconds a couple times, and I just re-read all the Detox requirements and I am supposed to omit Corn... so my bad. I am not going to restart or anything, I just lumped corn in as a vegetable - My mistake, I will just hit it hard and be completely faithful for the remaining time. I want to get max results after sacrificing some of the monster desserts and foods these last 2 weeks. Only two more weeks as one of my sweet friends pointed out yesterday, hey I am at the half way point! As promised here are my results after week 2 -

- OK I just have to hold up - So Brett is trying to get his motorcycle going for the summer and he comes in asking for Lyla's Bulb Syringe. I have no Idea where it could be as I have not used it for a long time. He tells me the Bike probably has bad gas in it, and he needs to empty the tank. Then he says, "I am too scared to try and suck on it with my mouth, I might get Gas in my mouth!" That isn't the worst part, he walks out of my office then walks back in and says, "Why don't you come do it, you're from a small town..." Lol, like being from a small town equates to having siphoned gas through out my childhood and so now I am a pro at not getting gas in my mouth... "Um, no honey you did not just say that, I have never siphoned gas and I don't plan to." His incredibly sheepish grin made me laugh, but then a huge sigh as I turn back to the computer. Oh, Honey I love you, but sometimes you make me wonder.
So anyway, I can't be too upset about slacking a little because I still achieved results, I just can't help but wonder what they might have been. Ok no more seconds, even if it is seconds of healthy food:)

DAY 14
Started the Body Cleanse drink today. It wasn't that bad at all! I just added a squeeze of half a lemon and half a lime to the solution for the day and it was good. I felt pretty good all day and I feel kind of embarrassed about being so nervous about it. I did hear though that day 2 and 3 can be the doozy days, so we will see. I am still feeling really good about the whole Detox experience, and I am still seeing results.
We worked a lot on our Garden tonight. It is going to be a ton more work, but it will be soo worth it when we are done. The fact that the whole yard was beautifully landscaped when we purchased it, means a lot. After just doing the work to add the garden plots, I have an awful lot of respect for the owners prior. They only got to enjoy their work until September too, because I am pretty sure they just finished it last year or something. I will post pictures of it when we get it together.
Breakfast: Arbonne Protein Shake 1 scoop of Choco 1 scoop Vanilla, 4oz. Almond Milk, 1 tsp. of Almond Butter, 1/4 cup water and 9 ice cubes - I am kind of addicted to this combo now, it kind of tastes like a latte to me :)
Snack: handful slivered Almonds
Lunch: Lean Beef, Green pepper, green onions, tomotaoes, Black and Northern beans 1/2 cup,
Snack: Raspberries 1/4 cup, Strawberries1/2 cup
Dinner:4oz. Chicken Breast, Black Beans 1/2 cup, Lime Rice, 2 Strawberries

Day 13
Back to the week. It was such a nice weekend. We just relaxed and spent time with Friends and Family, and it was great. So today was kind of a bummer to get back in the swing of things. Lyla is getting more and more confident each day with her standing, and sneaking. She was trying to dance today while standing and was rather upset when she fell to her bottom. She is getting so big, I feel like her babiness is already starting to fade and its getting replaced by these pretty little girl features. Only two weeks until I have a one year old!
I feel like Brett is getting bored with the Detox thing. The other day he said, "so after this Diet are you done dieting and then you'll just work out?" I think he misses having delicious sometimes containing fatty substances homemade dinners and treats (and leftover lunches). Yes, I will just go back to working out, while still being sensible about what I eat. If I am not careful this whole Detox will have been for nothing. This has been pretty rough turning down some of my favorite indulgences, however it has showed me that I can do it, and it has also shown me what I can achieve when I do practice self control, so I feel like I am growing a lot as a person too.
Breakfast: Detox tea with 1/2 fizz stick-Chocolate Protein Shake - 2 Scoops- 4 oz. Almond Milk, 9 ice cubes and 1/4 cup water
Snack:Slivered Almonds and Cranberries
Lunch: Arbonne Protein Shake 1 scoop chocolate & 1 Scoop Vanilla 1 Tblsp Almond Butter, 4 oz. Almond Milk, 1/4 cup water, 9 ice cubes
Snack: 5 Strawberries
Dinner: Lean beef strips - Cut into tiny pieces - Green Peppers, Green onions, and tomatoes sauteed in a little olive oil - Garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika then some cold black beans on top
Tomorrow I start the 7- day Body Cleanse, Tara told me to drink a lot of water with it, and to add a little lemon or lime if needed. Wish me luck - 32 oz. of fun coming my way!

Day 12 - Mother's Day
Well my sweet husband made this very cute piece of artwork for my mothers day present. I love it! It is so sweet and it instantly makes me smile when I see it, cuz it is just soo Bug. I know he did a lot of work on it too, and he kept it a complete secret, so very cool honey. I LOVE LovE LOve being a mommy. I think it is a huge blessing, and I am grateful everyday to be blessed with this little angel. It definitely has its challenges, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Also, I love that I get to be a parent with Brett. He is such an amazing Father, and he makes me smile everyday with his good heart, and his truest love for our little girl. She is such a Daddy's girl and understandably so.
Today we got up and ate Breakfast, then headed for church and off to my friends house for Lunch. Then we came back home and have just gotten things done around the house as reverently as possible. Nothing huge as far as a mothers day celebration. Here is the daily Log:
Breakfast: (Leftover Veggies from last night) Sweet potatoes and eggs -probably 2 eggs- Pomegranate Fizz stick
Snack: Fit Chew and a tsp of Almond Butter
Lunch: Green Salad - Cucumber, tomato, and olives - 2 strawberries
Snack: baby carrots (4), Almonds Palm full, Cranberries (4) , Celery 1 stalk
Dinner: Arbonne Chocolate protein shake with 4oz Almond Milk

DAY 10 and 11
Wow, that was a boring post yesterday. I was so exhausted! I couldn't believe it at like 7:30pm I was ready to pass out. Oh well, I started my day right today and I have felt awesome all day. I also realized I didn't take any of my vitamins yesterday and I notice a huge difference. I definitely had cravings throughout the day and I felt hungry a lot through out the day. Then today I have done amazing! I am just now getting hungry, and well you will see what I have eaten so far.
7:30 am - Water (While feeding Lyla and getting the kitchen ready for the day)
8:45am Detox tea with 1/2 Fizz stick, handful slivered almonds, handful of cranberries, multivitamins and omega 3s oh and my allergy pill:)
10:00am BBL - Cardio Axe and High and Tight Videos - Super Hard! Lol, went for a walk at 12:30 with Bug
3:00pm Put bug down for a nap and shower- Just now started to feel hungry again - WOW taking my vitamins makes a huge difference -
3:45pm Chocolate Arbonne Protein Shake with Almond Milk
7:00pm Dinner at Kabuki for Alyson's 25th Birthday! Woo hoo! Poor Bug was scared to death when they did the fire thing at the beginning. I felt so awful, if I was a hip mom that went out all the time I would have remembered that they do that in the beginning and would have thought to dictract her. She recovered however. and the evening went on. I had the Salmon. I know salad and an appetizer came with my meal, but I couldn't really eat them - Doused in a creamy sort of dressing and fried. But it was still really good!
Day 11
Wow I can't believe I didn't post on both of these days. I really am still stickin with it, I was just so wildly busy. We woke up to a sprinkler line malfunction and a pretty big hole on our side yard, then we had to spray down the weeds, and spray for bugs. Oh, the joys of owning a home. We moved so we could have a yard and some privacy, now our yard and our privacy our the most work! Oh Also! Bug and Brett LOVE Pepperidge Farm Gold fish and they go through them like crazy so I talked Brett into going out to the Thrift store yesterday morning before we dove into all the yard work. I just wanted to go out and have a mini Day trip with the family and cut down on the amount of times I have to run to the store and grab more goldfish.
When we got out there however, we were surprised to find that it is more of a sport to go to the Pepperidge Farm Thrift store on a Saturday. We got out there at like 9:10am - Umm yeah they don't even open until 10:00am. We always thought it was so early the two times we went out the before Lyla was born, now we have a rather reliable alarm clock to wake us every morning at 7:00am. Anyways, we decided to just hang out, cuz we were all the way out there, and I was on the Saturday Morning Conference Call with my Team. Then we just played around with Lyla in the car for a bit. Then around 9:30 am to 9:50 we start to hear and see cars arrive and doors slam. We decide to get out for a change of scenery for our restless native. We then find where the doors were previously deserted and quiet a little crowd starting to form. "Oh, apparently there is a line now," said Brett. Hahaha! There is this older rough sort of woman, sitting in a camp chair in front of the door! JUST planted there like whatever is behind this door when they finally let us in, I lay claim too!! To join her at the door crowders are a number of other impatient looking and rough people. HAHA Brett and I could not stop laughing. And a huge part of me was embarrassed to even be counted as one of these people this morning. We refused to be one of the line forming door crowders so we kept our distance and started a conversation with someone a ways back. This is at 9:50am -ish. WOW. At 9:58 they start to look into the windows and the camp chair lady packs up her chair and stands at the ready. Ugh, I died a little bit inside. Anyways, the doors opened at 10 am as promised and the "crowd" rushes the door all of about 10 people that must have there baked to perfection pepperidge Farm snacks. The Camp Chair lady gets a cart and blocks the aisle walking in so she can get the most time alone with the factory rejects! I just kept saying aloud "This is seriously not happening, I am so embarrassed. In the end, Brett and I were the last ones in the doors, not feeling the need to push and shove, and the first ones to check out, not feeling the need to empty the contents of the shelves into our homes and send any extra prized goods to family members a far!! SO the Log for the day-
Breakfast: Detox Tea and Pomegranate Energy fizz (1/2)
Snack: Chocolate Arbonne Protein Shake with 4 oz Almond Milk
lunch: Farmers market authentic tasting tacos - steak - no cheese - no flour tortillas (Farmers market moved to Willow Park now, and I have to say I don't hate it.)
Snack: Baby carrots with tsp of Almond Butter and 1/2 avacado - eaten separately of course
Dinner: Grilled Chicken - Sea salt, back pepper, and Smoked paprika to taste, Sauteed sweet potatoes and yams with a little smoked paprika - gotta combine flavor profiles. And some BBQ'd sweet corn - sooo yummy and smoky this way. http://johndlee.hubpages.com/hub/Grilled_corn_three_waysHow_to_best_grill_sweet_corn_on_the_cob_Perfect_summer_BBQ_food

DAY 7 - Oh, BOY
Ok today was a major struggle, because i was put up against one of my biggest weaknesses and I had a really hard time talking myself down. More on that to follow. Also - Measurements and weight tomorrow! After one week I am excited to see where I am. I got my 7 Day Body Cleanse this afternoon. That is probably the part I am the most nervous about. I have heard a lot about the taste, and the "effects" however, I have heard it makes a huge difference. SO I will for sure do it, I am just nervous. Ok here is the Log-
Breakfast: Herbal Detox tea with a 1/2 pomegranate energy fizz stick. WOW! I am hooked it was soo yummy and surprisingly I didn't get hungry again till around 10:30am, I am positive that it had nothing to do with satisfying my hunger and more to do with giving me the energy and enough satisfaction to get my morning under way. At 10:30 I made a smoothie - sans protein powder- just Almond milk, 4 strawberries, 3 drops of Agave Nectar, and 2tsp. of Fiber Boost.
Lunch:3/4 cup brown Rice, 1/2 cup asparagus, 3/4 cup broccoli, and 3oz. chicken - Multivitamin packet
Snack:Chocolate Fit Chew @ 4:30pm
Dinner: Grilled Beef Kabobs, Coconut Rice, Green Salad - This is when I was confronted with the Weakness! So here is the story - We got back From the Conference in Vegas, then a couple days of regrouping, then my family was here for my brothers Graduation, then we went to SLC, then yesterday I was working with my business, washing loads and loads of laundry, and working with a teething almost 1 year old, also I reorganized my office -total Mess. My house was in a serious need of a deep cleaning and I seriously could not stand another second of looking at it. So I spent the entire day today cleaning every inch. I knew we were going over to our friends house for dinner at 6:00pm and I needed to get to the store to grab a couple things to make a "Clean" dessert and to finish the salad I was taking, but time just got away from me! I couldn't stop cleaning and before I knew it, it was 5 o clock and I was still not showered, but every part of my house was finally clean! Anyways, I had to send Brett to the store to get Dessert (because by this time there was not time to make anything) and the salad fixins.
I am hurriedly doing my hair and make up while keeping bug from unraveling the toilet paper roll, turning on the tub, getting into the toilet and emptying my underwear drawer - I know right, a day in the life-. Brett walks back in the door at like 5:50pm with the salad stuff and CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BARS!!! Ugh, why- why does Chocolate have to be soo addicting. I haven't been confronted with a challenge like this sense the cleanse began. I mean I have been confronted with Pie, meh I can live without it. Ice Cream and root beer at the restaurant, Zack was eating a root beer float and I died a little inside. Ever since I was a little kid there has been no dessert like root beer floats. MMMm I could go on but I'll spare you. I still shrugged it off no sweat. Well and the recent Dairy allergy kind of helped with that too. I used to try and eat the really good dairy things just because maybe it would taste so good it would be worth the effects. I have out grown that very poor lapse in judgement. It is NEVER worth the awful effects that I get from Dairy. So anyways, I am trying to transform myself. THE OLD me would never be able to resist the combinations of chocolate and peanut butter and Chocolate and Mint. And earlier this evening all those same thoughts came pooring in like a freight train. JUST HAVE ONE BITE! It's going to be fine you have been soo good, it is not going to make a difference in the whole 30 days. Will it? Brett picks one up and starts munching on it as he plates up the rest, I tell him to just plate up most of them and only save what he knows he will eat.
We had a great evening, and the dinner was awesome. Then Dessert rolls around, all the plates are passed around and the husbands dig into theirs. I tried to be nonchalant about not taking one, and no one said anything, but my friend didn't take one either. And she and I just went on chatting through dessert. I had a super hard time paying attention to what she was saying because I felt so bad, she is even pregnant! I hope so badly that she wasn't not eating one because I wasn't. Because if I didn't make a commitment on May 1st to eat clean all month I would be on bar 5 right now! (ok ok maybe not 5 but close).
... Now here even as I sit, I know they are in the kitchen, in the pantry, in a Blue Tupperware container (where I had to put them because Brett just left them out on the counter where they would inevitably be dry in the morning). SO they will be there again in the morning, and all day long tomorrow, pleasantly moist from the mounds of butter and oil mixed into their contents to give them the perfect harmony of salty and sweet... WOW, yeah I am sending them to work with Brett tomorrow, they can't be in this house much longer. This is a PROCESS of Transforming. I am not there yet, and I may be standing strong right now, but let's not take any chances. :)
Haha, I just re-read that and it is an embarrassing amount of honest, you'd think I weigh a million pounds, jeez. Well, thanks for reading Friend:)

DAY 6
Breakfast: Arbonne Chocolate Protein Shake Mix, Almond Milk 4oz., 3 strawberries - 24oz. water
Snack: Handful Almonds
Lunch: I tried to get creative today with my lunch and I made some wrong turns. We have needed chicken for a couple days now, but Brett was going to run grab it on his way home from work today. I have had a ton of eggs the last couple days so I figured I would try some fish. We only had Wild Caught canned tuna in water... Yeah not stellar but an ok choice as far as health is concerned. Then my next wrong turn, I bought a ton of avocados to use with my cleanse and I was trying to use some up, I tried to make an avocado dressing and it was not very good either, then I added some beans and some organic all natural corn chips for texture. All together it was awful. I couldn't finish it, I could barely keep from gagging. So I wouldn't recommend canned tuna unless you know you like it. I love tuna if it is the Fresh variety grilled...
Snack: Green Apple - least amount of sugar than all the apples so allowed in the cleanse guidelines
Dinner: Brown Rice, and a clean stirfry only cooked in a little evoo and sea salt - (Fresh Garlic, onion, asparagus, Broccoli and Chicken Breast) - Luckily Brett got home with something I am used to cooking with.
Dessert: Arbonne's Detox tea.
I am feeling really good and I can already see results in my body and even in my skin.
Snack: Handful Almonds

In Other News
I will post again today about how my cleanse is going, by the way I think I have already lost some significant LBS, but I won't put down measurements and pounds until Wednesday.
I am too excited. Its decided we are going to do a LADY BUG theme for Bugs First Birthday party in a couple weeks. I am trying like crazy to get ideas, but suggestions are welcome! I have haunted pinterest, and googled a little bit. I feel like I need to just go to a party store and play with stuff. here are some pics I found that were pretty inspiring from glorious treats.com.
http://www.glorioustreats.com/2011/02/joys-ladybug-birthday.html
I want to do Classy- Chic but still make it a little cutesy. It's also our first legit party since we moved in to the new house and finished putting in our fence. SO I am thinking probably outdoors, BBQ or Desserts or a little bit of both. So I have to figure out what to make too. I found some ok Decor, but there was not a ton of selection. I am going to have to shoot from the hip quite a bit. Here were a couple more ideas. I am also trying to decide about pictures. I don't know if we should try and get some professionally done or just do a ton of pics of her and the party and family and friends. Thoughts?

Day 4 GRAD DAY and 5 (CINCO DE MAYO)
I know soo lame that I missed a day but, it was my dear sweet brothers graduation day and I didn't have a spare minute, so here you have a combined post.
DAY 4
Breakfast: Choco protein shake with Almond Milk
Lunch: Green Salad, Assorted non-starchy veggies, Seared Fish - This was at Chuck-a-rama so the SELF control was unbelievable. It wasn't all that hard though, just because Brett was not with me so I was trying to get both myself and Bug fed so it was good.
Snack: Handful of Raw Almonds
Dinner: 2 eggs, Diced Yellow Pepper, 1/4 Avocado
Snack: Herbal Detox Tea
Also, Exercised for an Hour and a 1/2 - Walked/jogged around the block with Ivy. Then returned to do BBL Cardio Axe and Tummy Tuck - UGH that hurt soo much. What am I supposed to say again "Pain is weakness leaving the body?" Lol, not really I am still pretty wimpy.
Today I went to Zack's Graduation and it was amazing. I am so dang proud of him, and his little family. Graduating from college is an unbelievably exciting and satisfying milestone in life and I am just elated I got to witness it. I also had a chance to see my friends Sam and Camille walk which was a very cool coincidence. Then it was off to SLC to meet up with Brett, and I had to say goodbye to my sweet family again. They might be coming back in July, so can't wait until then.
Then in the evening we hung out with Bonnie and Steve. We had so much fun, I don't know if it was because we were all deliriously tired or what. I distinctly remember doing Zumba moves with Steve though. I just LOVE the amazing families I have been blessed to share my life with.
Standing next to Zachariah Mike the MIS Graduate!
Day 5
Breakfast: On-The-Go Chocolate protein shake
Snack: These Extremely good Chocolate protein bars made with Brown rice krispies, Chocolate protein powder, Agave Nectar, Almond Butter and something else, I am really hoping they are Cleanse approved because I was told they are and I have been extremely faithful thus far
Lunch: Almonds, 1/2 avacado _ No not sufficient but we were late for church- and I still needed to feed Lyla. It was one of those random Sundays where you think, man I haven't really tried for a while why not give it a go this time, and I thought I looked pretty cute, but there was a lot of effort.
Snack: Pomegranate Energy Fizz
Dinner: Chicken breast approx 4oz. Peppers, onions, Green Salad, Guacamole, Clean corn tortillas, and assorted raw veggies - NO RED VELVET CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING - It was offered but I stayed very strong!
Dinner with Brett's family. It was great to have everyone together and chat as a family. Then We headed home. My sweet neighbor was hauling shingles into her garage. ANd we drove up to the driveway to our brand new Sexy fence blown apart! The front double gate had been blown open (THE WRONG WAY) at first we thought someone had vandalized it. Then our neighbor came over to explain about the winds that hit Cache Valley last night. And how it blew 6 shingles off her roof, then on further inspection she pointed our our back corner of our fence was also blown down. HOLY MOLY! It's too bad the whole fence hasn't even been completed for a whole week, and it just got bullied like crazy by the elements. Anyway, we will have to call the fence company tomorrow and see what we can get fixed.
All in all I am staying pretty faithful to the cleanse, so we will have to see what results are yielded.
Bug and I, she is wearing the new Dress Grandma and Grandpa Vera gave her.
This was a pic Brett took of Bug in Las Vegas at the Breakfast Buffet
Bug is cuddling and giving kisses to the baby. Lol, I was dying this was so stinkin' cute
This is how Bug reads... Haha she did not open one book she just removed them all from the shelves
She is soo BIG! She is holding my measuring spool

I have super bad allergies right now. So I have been coughing and covering my mouth a lot. So I was absent mindedly coughing and covering my mouth when I hear a tiny cough and look down and see my little shadow. She is so funny, if she knows she is being filmed she promptly stops what she is doing, so I pulled out my phone and tried to stealthily catch her doing it. I only got her doing it once and it is a vertical video (on accident) but it is so funny for a second, then the rest of the video there isn't anything going on.

Day 3
Breakfast: Chocolate Protein Shake with Almond Milk and one strawberry
Lunch: Vanilla Strawberry Protein Shake with Almond Milk
Snack:1/2 Avocado, 1/2 cup black and garbanzo beans, 10 Organic Corn Chips (No hydrogenated oils, No Gluten) 7 Baby carrots (give or take)
Dinner: Brown Rice Pasta 1 Cup, Tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Romaine lettuce, lemon juice, and garbanzo beans
Workout for an hour and 1/2
I know that is probably boring to read that everyday, but it keeps me accountable which is the whole reason I am posting daily. Anyways I FINALLY worked out today! The Brazil Butt lift "High and Tight" and "Bum Bum" (pronounced Boom boom), then 30 minutes of abs and cardio. Yep, Leandro always says "Give it all, don't settle for Less!" Haha, it is seriously the most embarrassing thing to say I do these work out routines. However, I don't lose weight in my hips and thighs easily, and I have lost 2 inches off of each one doing these, workouts. So I am not selling for them or anything, I am just saying he kicks your butt off literally. Also, the bulk of the work outs work your core also, so that has helped a ton.
In other news, Lyla got her 5th tooth today! So yay for her, but she was really sad and clingy today so it was kind of rough. My family just got in from Colorado tonight and I am elated to see them. They came into town because, ZACK GRADUATES FROM USU TOMORROW!!! Having family here is so hard though because I want to eat terribly, and my mom brought a banana creme pie and garlic bread. BUT I was stronger, I just had to think about how good it will feel to know that I was totally faithful to the cleanse.

DAY 2
Breakfast: Arbonne Protein Shake, Almond Milk, 9 ice cubes
Snack: Fit Chew and 4 baby carrots, multivitamins
Lunch: 3 large eggs, 1/2 cup black beans, 1 tsp Green onions And a Digestions Plus
Snack: Pomegranate Energy Fizz
Dinner: Brown Rice Pasta, Chicken, Italian seasoning, Olive Oil - Organic all natural corn chips, 1/2 avacado
Herbal Detox Tea
I really only got hungry once today, and it wasn't to the point that I thought I was going to die or anything. I just had the Fit Chew and I was good. The Protein shakes luckily keep me feeling full for a while. I went to see my hairdresser today so I could get my hair done and test out this Color last hair product. She said I should put up 'before' and 'after' pictures of my little journey... We'll see if so I will take one tomorrow, or I have some from GTC last weekend those will work.
Oh my goodness, I don't feel huge results yet from the detox, But I LOVE the freshly done hair days! I might be the only person, but I feel like a new woman. Like my hair cut just made me a model for a few hours. The concoction I made for dinner tonight was ok, a little lack luster in flavor. I will need to tweek that for next time. The only down side to eating super healthy is the time it takes to plan out and put the meals together. As I have cut out overly processed foods and such. Oh, well I just need to Plan better. I have got to get my "clean" meals a little more tasty so Brett doesn't boycott me every time I suggest a cleanse from here on out. I didn't work out again today! I was just running so much (not literally, unfortunately). So I will do an hour and a half tomorrow, it's going to be a surprise!
Also, Lyla Bugs birthday is coming up and I am needing to get started on Party planning. I did this for like 8 years of my life, you'd think I would be more decisive. It's definitely different when you are planning a party for your own child. We are up here in Logan far away from Family though, so if you have any ideas or want to come help me out, I would welcome it:)
So here is something funny for the road...
This was Bug climbing over the seat to get to Aunt Tara on the trip back from Vegas.

30 DAYS of Fun!
I just got back from an AMAZING training trip with my company in Las Vegas. I had so much fun, and my husband and Baby got to come along. My company unveiled new products, and delivered an unbelievably good training. I also however spent a weekend in Las Vegas and ate like a crazy person. I have wanted to try out this Detox/ 30 days to feeling fit thing my company has for a while, but I didn't have the guts or ability to do so before now. I say "ability" because I had to wait until after I was nursing. Since my Bug was biting and I was incapable of stopping that naughty little habit, we have decided to call it quits, on the nursing.
Best Co-workers a Girl could ask for :) AT GTC Las Vegas!
So FULL Disclosure. I say full disclosure because everything I am about to share, is information that most women try like crazy to keep secret. WHY? would I share this you might ask? For the sake of Science of course! But seriously, I want to try out this Detox-cleanse thing and I want to see how effective it is. Besides, after having about a Zillion people see you naked and in various degrees of undress at your worst (The entire labor experience and several days following[Not much left to be embarrassed about]), why not share some info on the upswing right?
SO here is the background. I gained approximately 50 lbs. with my pregnancy with Bug, Yeah I know that's a lot. AND yes, I know 25 lbs is the healthy and recommended number. It's done and over, it happened lets move on. After I had Lyla I lost about 15 to 20 lbs. of water weight (within the first 2weeks after birth, without doing anything) and the rest was all there for me to lose. NO, it does not just fall off if you are nursing. I was nursing a ton, and nothing was happening. I went in for my check-up and the OB said only about 38% of women lose weight from nursing, so like always I am not in the favorable percentile. So, I put on my Big girl panties "literally" and faced the facts it was going to be a long hard road. I have lost about 52 Lbs. to date. And it was a lot of work. Including but not limited to:
- An Arbonne Protein shake almost every morning for breakfast -Yum
- A lot of water
- Omitting Dairy (I got disgustingly sick every time we met, this was not an omission of choice)
- My Fitness Pal - being accountable to what I was eating to my friends helped tremendously
- A Daily workout regimen of 30 to 60 minutes of one of the following workout videos
- P90x - cardio, ab ripper, plio, yoga etc
- Brazil Butt Lift - Lol one of the hardest workouts
- Or just good old fashioned running up and down the stairs
Anyways, that bring us to the 30 days of fun. I am posting this on the Blog to make myself accountable. Also, because in what world is it not fun to see someone challenge themselves to something and then see how they do? So the detox is supposed to not only help you lose weight but detoxify from the inside out. Yes, from the inside, I read that your body can store between 5 & 25 lbs. of toxins and waste in your colon(SICK!). So, after the cleanse when you start to reintroduce foods that you have omitted, you can see how they effect your body. I would like to see if I am still intolerant to dairy (post nursing) and just how gluten effects me.

OK So that being said, I am the most blessed person on the planet to be a mom to my amazing Lyla Bug and a wife to my adoring Husband Brett. I thank the Lord every day for allowing me to share my life with them. This life is not all about me, or you. It's about continually working to help and serve one another. I want to work harder at serving those around me, and letting my friends and family know how much I Love them. Life is truly a gift. The average human life span is around 20,000 days... WHAT? When it is said like that it punches you in the gut and gives you the harshest clarity. Your time on earth is limited. Make every day count. Be the person you want to be, and make your dreams come true, TODAY. Don't put it off until tomorrow.
My Utopia...
